Cadillac Gold C Ignition Key for all Cadillac 1968, 1972, 1980, and select models 1987-1990

This is a NOS (New Original Stock) Gold Key blank with the Cadillac Wreath & Crest on both sides of the head. This blank has real, 24K gold plating. It was made in the USA in the 1980's. 

This is an ignition key with a square key head. The letter 'C' is stamped onto the shaft of the ignition key. This key blank can be cut at any hardware store or home goods store to match your existing ignition key.

The GM part # is 01639809. This key was used for all Cadillac models in 1968, 1972, 1976, 1980, and then 1987-1990 on select Cadillac cars (see the chart for specific applications).

The C ignition key was most often used with the D door, trunk, glovebox key. Some of the above Cadillacs that were built with a C ignition key, may have had the ignition key cylinder replaced if the car was stolen at some point during it's lifetime. In those cases, the ignition key cylinder may have been replaced with an E ignition key.
